Hi! I’m Kamila - a queer Polish illustrator and comics artist based in Wales, UK. My playful designs are often inspired by dreams and folklore, with much of my work focused on reviving and re-imagining elements of my Slavic heritage.

I’m the author of an award-winning graphic novel Rusalka: Whispers of the Forest. My short comics have also  appeared in the anthologies Let Her Be Evil, Boxes #2 and The Dark Chronicles of Cymru.

  • Since 2024 I’ve been working with the MCM Comic Con, designing visual assets to represent their London show. Each event has a leading theme:

    October 2024 - Adventurers Party

    May 2025 - Summer Festival

    October 2025 - Cute Halloween

    Based on these I design a group of unique characters, which feature on the guidebook, show map, tickets and the mobile app.

  • The map includes all of the show areas, with main features illustrated according to the current theme. The visuals are clear yet fun to look at, and lead thousands of visitors and exhibitors during the busy show weekend.

  • The visual designs (characters, banners and icons) are used in the Fan Hub section of the official MCM app. They also feature in the custom mobile games and quizzes created for the fans.

Official merchandise design

Merch design for the 2025 New York Comic Con features a monster subway and a crowd of funky Halloween commuters, including the show’s unofficial mascot Pizza Rat.

The design featured on crop tops, t-shirts and a desk playmat.
